Electroplating is the use of electrolysis in some metal surface plated with a thin layer of other metals or alloys, is the use of electrolysis to make the surface of the metal or other material parts attached to a layer of metal film of the process so as to play a role in preventing oxidation of the metal (such as rust and corrosion), to improve abrasion resistance, electrical conductivity, reflective, corrosion (copper sulfate, etc.) and to enhance the role of the aesthetics and so on. Plating is divided into hanging plating, roll plating, continuous plating and brush plating, mainly with the size of the plated parts and batch related. Hanging plating is suitable for general size products, such as car bumpers, bicycle handlebars and so on. Roller plating is suitable for small parts, fasteners, washers, pins and so on. Continuous plating is suitable for batch production of wire and strip. Brush plating is suitable for partial plating or repair. There are acidic plating solution, alkaline plating solution, and acidic and neutral solution with chromium compound. No matter what kind of plating method is used, the plating tank and hanging device in contact with the plated products and plating solution should have a certain degree of universality.
